Man Who Was Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Willowbrook Identified

A 62-year-old man who was fatally hit by a vehicle on a street in the unincorporated Willowbrook area was identified Wednesday.

Arturo Gonzalez was identified as the victim by the Los Angeles County Medical-Examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.

The crash was reported at 9:13 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Imperial Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

It was unknown if the vehicle’s driver remained at the scene.
